The Dads4Kids Fatherhood Foundation Competition attracted 575 entries. These were distilled to 22 entries. Reading every entry was incredibly inspiring as all the entrants' thoughts on how to best help Australian children were noted.
The second round of judging involved 21 independent judges from 5 different states of Australia. Doctors, a psychologist, academics, a chief police inspector, family counsellors, family advocates, ministers, a former parliamentarian and ordinary mums and dads made up the judging panel and assessed the top 22 entries. The results were very close but a clear consensus emerged. The Dads4Kids Fatherhood Foundation is pleased to announce the winners below. The winning entries are published under Competition Results.
